2013 Austin Conference on Learning & Memory Keynote speakers win Nobel Prize
Drs. Edvard and May-Britt Moser, along with Dr. John O-Keefe, received the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine for their discoveries of place cells and grid cells that constitute a positioning system in the brain. The Mosers delivered the keynote addresses April 2013 at the last Austin Conference on Learning & Memory. The title of their talks were “The entorhinal-hippocampal space map” and “Functional organization of the grid-cell system”
