Submit a poster abstract

The conference will include general poster sessions in which posters from all areas of learning and memory research are welcome.  All meeting attendees are welcome to present a poster, however we especially encourage posters presented by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

 Deadline for abstract submission is March 31, 2019.

Poster abstracts should be submitted via email to Susan Cushman ( The subject line of your email must include “poster abstract 2019″ and the last name of the presenting author.

Poster abstract submission instructions:

– Poster presenters must be registered for the meeting.
– Abstracts should be approximately 200 words long.
– Abstracts must be submitted in an editable format, as they will be edited to a common format for the conference abstract booklet. Acceptable formats include: Word (with .doc or .docx extension), RTF (with .rtf extension), or plain text (with .txt extension).  PDF files will not be accepted. 
– Information to be included in the abstract submission:

  • Title
  • Authors
  • Affiliation
  • Email address of presenting author
  • Please indicate if the presenting author is a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow and is therefore eligible for the poster competition.  If so, please indicate the ethnic background of the presenting author.

*The poster boards will accommodate a poster 68 inches wide x 48 inches tall*

Selection of poster abstracts for talks:
Four poster abstracts will be selected prior to the conference for presentation as talks in the general speaker sessions. You will be notified by April 5, 2019 if your poster is selected to be given as a talk.  Those poster abstracts that are not selected will not be notified; therefore if you have not received an email by April 5thyou may assume you have not been selected for a talk and are presenting a poster in the general poster session.
