Dr. Kim Raab-Graham publishes in Neuropharmacology

Dr. Kim Raab-Graham’s lab group published a paper in Neuropharmacology entitled “mTORC1 Dependent Protein Synthesis Underlying Rapid Antidepressant Effect Requires GABABR Signaling”.  This research explores the molecular actions of rapid antidepressant drugs, a class of drugs that are known to block NMDA receptors, also engage GABAB receptors.  This novel finding promises new therapeutic targets for ameliorating depressive behaviors.
