Dr. Michael Drew receives 2016 Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award

Dr. Michael Drew was one of a few select faculty chosen from across all UT system institutions to be awarded the 2016 Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award. This award acknowledges Dr. Drew for his outstanding performance and commitment to undergraduate teaching.

With a monetary award of $25,000, the Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards are among the largest in the nation for rewarding outstanding faculty performance. Given the depth and breadth of talent across the UT System, the awards program is one of the nation’s most competitive and receiving this award is a remarkable achievement.
