Dr. Mbemba Jabbi receives RO1 from NIMH to study brain mechanisms underlying increased risk for suicide in bipolar disorder

Congratulations to Dr. Mbemba Jabbi on his RO1 from NIMH for his project entitled "Brain network and cell-type elucidation of molecular dysregulations in bipolar disorder suicide".  This project seeks to identify brain region and cellular, molecular mechanisms underlying the increased risk for suicide that is associated with bipolar disorder, with the goal of identifying predictive and treatment markers that will lower the suicide risk in this population.
